SHAKESTOBERFEST is Shakespeare’s annual event, begun last fall, as a celebration of community and classical theatre. “Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, or OSP, has been around since 1985, and is still the state’s oldest and only classical theatre company. We want to meet new friends and celebrate the incredible journey of this Oklahoma cultural treasure!” says Tyler Woods, Executive Artistic Director.
The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 2-6:00 p.m. at the Oklahoma Shakespeare Theatre, located in the historic Paseo Arts District at their home location of 2920 Paseo. Set to be a fun-filled, family-friendly day featuring activities for the whole family including face-painting, crafting for kids, improv and clowning classes, along with presentations from Oklahoma Shakespeare actors and singers.
