Flora Bodega features tons of fresh, local produce and baked goods from vendors across Oklahoma, even producers and makers right here in the Paseo, including various from Community Gardens, small farms & gardens. Also, expanding beyond hyper local to provide fruits, veggies, and other staple items we are unable to source locally for the full grocery store experience in the Paseo. We are a developing worker-owned cooperative and prioritize sourcing from businesses that are BiPoc and women owned, have good environmental practices, and are new and beginning entrepreneurs. We continue to provide a location for community recycling, a free community fridge, and drives for community organizations. We accept SNAP both in store and online, with half price on all produce items up to $20/day.

Flora Foundation organizes the Paseo Farmers Market: a walkable neighborhood Market with fresh locally grown produce and products. Flora is partnered with Lillian and Timber in bridging Food Insecurity with Programming and Resources including 24/7 access to the Free Fridge ‘FREEDGE’and more!

Available to the public, the Foundation provides a Community Glass & Mixed Recycling Program located by Flora Bodega. working along side other entities and non-profits to provide Art & Gardening Education, including a Composting Program in Collaboration with Closer to Earth.

FEATURED ARTIST:

Malcolm Zachariah

This month, we are welcoming Malcolm Zachariah as our guest artist. Zachariah explores the diverse relationships among life forms through printed kirigami installations. He specializes in a Kirigami art style, a variation of origami in which the paper is cut and folded resulting in a 3-D sculpture. He blends this style with the mediums of ink drawing, watercolor, ceramics, and printmaking.
