Watercolor with Terry Clark
In this four part watercolor course, students will be introduced to the basic techniques and materials of watercolor, with plenty opportunity for practice. Classes will involve step-by-step lessons and demonstrations, as well as one-on-one instruction and always positive advice.
Subjects will be provided, but students are welcome to paint their own subjects.
The first class session will discuss supplies, composition, value sketches, color and basic techniques, followed by a brief demonstration. A brief student exercise will conclude the session.
Class open to individuals 16 & older.
This course will be taught over four Mondays, 6:30-8:30pm

$100 per person
**Supplies not included – a brief supply list will be provided upon enrollment, however, supplies will be discussed the during first class session on October 21. Terry will provide everything you need for the first session, and students are responsible for their paper, paints and brushes beginning October 28. Material costs should not exceed $40.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Terry Clark has been painting watercolor landscapes for 20 years. He believes transparent watercolor is ideal for capturing the dynamic spirit and light of Oklahoma and the Great Plains. Terry is a member artist of In Your Eye Studio & Gallery in the Paseo Arts District and he has exhibited and sold paintings in Oklahoma City and Santa Fe, NM. Clark has been recognized as an excellent teacher, and is a retired journalism professor at UCO in Edmond. Samples of his work can be viewed on his website, www.tmclarkart.com
